WHAT HAPPENED IN KENYA?

It is very important to note that kenya has now entered into historical books. the question that may be asked by many people is, did the communicators perform there jobs to stop the attrocities? this can only be answered when we have a sober mind.

  1. I have issues with the way communication is done especially if it is not participatory. People must own any process of a shift whether political , social or economic/developmental.
And here now comes the question What is the role of communicators, media, PR practitioners in development and paradigm shift in our society?

  3. the retired president said it again, what is the take of kenyans on endorsement of such characters. is he going to be dissapointed again as it happened in early 2002. kenyans should come up and vote the leaders with vision but not proposed ones. the media should take good path in civic education to allow kenyans vote wisely.why is it that politicians are trying to change the way we think, burrials should be respected and such opportunities should not be taken for political rallies.

  4. The fact is the media which is the main communication agent fuelled the attrocities just like those tribal war lords. Media houses were as biased as politicians themselves. KTN was the worst followed by KBC. We just hope this will never happen again.

  5. Communicators did their work. You know people are always selective in the messages they want to hear and so they interpret in their own ways. The media too plays a major role by setting the agenda on what to think about.when it comes to social media,we are our own gatekeers.
